Anyway, not taking chances so I’m sticking two sheets on when they get here. For sure going to be covering the entire couch with a blanket or something whenever we leave for more than a day too.

I ordered those plastic sheets with the adhesive..we have good experience with those but I’m really hoping this was just a test scratch and lost interest. The material is supposed to be uninteresting to them 😩

It’s gonna take a bit to unpack everything. Still need to move our food over and do a proper grocery trip too. I want to paint the living room/dining room as well before unloading too much stuff but it’s already feeling much more like a home than the apartment (:

Ahh it’s nice though. I LOVE multitasking so having laundry on the go while I’m working is such a joy (without needing to go down 17 stories to an apartment basement where I need to pay the machines each time to use)

My temp set up is just at the dining room table. I’ve got a brand new desk on the way so once that’s here and set up I’ll get right to getting my office organized (still have my merch, shipping supplies and printer at the apartment. Moving all that over likely sat/sun)

The cats definitely have no idea what to do about all this space! New cat tree for squirrel watching is definitely a hit though

First night was ok; gotta adjust the temperature here so I’m not freezing at night lmao. The cats were definitely restless and then the townhouse beside us is being renovated so I was awoken right at 7:30 :’D

Yeah, we went with a small company that only communicates through text/email (not enough staff for a proper call center). I believe it's fibre, however our new house doesn't have the proper outlet installed which is why we need a technician over to set that up before I can hook everything up!
