All of NIH funding to Northwestern University is frozen. This pause includes noncompeting approved funding, new and competing grants with fundable scores. No reimbursements for money already spent have been received since March. This situation is rarely reported so please Please get the word out!

every corner of my mind is currently occupied by/stressed by global crises that I have no control over and no way to actionably help end suffering; I guess this is why people pray

are there children who actually sit at the table and eat? I feel like SUCH a failure every meal they get 2 bites in and then it’s a constant struggle the rest of the way

An update: we are apparently doing “too much” homework on this app and the teacher would like us to dial back so that he doesn’t get too far ahead of the class. (But that’s how far ahead he is, yo….)
