I'm not sure if it is because there are animations (that are view transition powered) and the author was assuming that the presence of animations mean there was a JS animation library and that made it slow, or there was genuinely something wrong. With the lack of control, I guess I'll never know 😅

I really love this post, and it's an approach I've basically taken for my entire career. It does make me wonder though, I had a post break containment recently and one of the comments I received was that I was a hypocrite about writing about the environment because my website ran really poorly
