I’m physically unable to like or comment on a post on social media if the writer has written ‘your’ instead of ‘you’re’.

Is there any tried & tested way of teaching a 12yo boy to proofread their school work before submitting it? Or is it an entirely lost cause?
I’ve tried every technique I know but it’s just like brain says, ‘nope I’ve already finished!’ 🤦🏻♀️
