Is there a word for comics that aren’t actually funny? I feel like I should know that word!..

I know it’s not the point but I loved the mouth of Sauron so much 💚 these movies made me realise what concept artists could bring to a written story!
That said yeah, I loved 1984 as a kid and reread it often, it’s somehow worse now that so much is still relevant..
