I read and quite liked Annihilation (though I prefer the movie), and I just could not get into the second one. I read about a hundred pages and then dropped it. I’m getting too old to waste time doing something I don’t enjoy. It’s pretty liberating.

I think it’s great that we seem to individually not be so extreme, but the problem is we aren’t voting that way. It’s nice most of us believe abortion should be a right, but we didn’t vote that way. It’s nice if most of us believe trans people deserve to exist, but we didn’t vote that way.

That sounds like a great idea. I love seeing the reactions to big changes and news like fanfests. Don’t need to see the grind if you aren’t interested in showing it. We all live that ourselves.
