Rewatched Lawrence Of Arabia. Amazing that there’s absolutely no speaking parts for women! In fact no women characters in the whole four hours. Depicting the era I suppose. Still a fantastic film…

Call me old fashioned but I’d like to finally come out… as a Perry Como fan. My late Grandad used to play this album to us in the 1970s on his ‘record player’, usually on Sundays. My late Dad loved Perry too. I’ve been playing it a lot recently and thinking of Dad and Grandad.

Finished #TheRats. I know it’s 50 years old but please someone make a TV series
Reading James Herbert’s first novel The Rats. It’s utterly terrifying. Released in 1974 around the same time as Jaws the novel. Never got made into a film. Should have been. Suppose they’d have had difficulty bringing giant rodents to life. They tried big maggots in Doctor Who back then and was bad

My great grandfather and great grandmother were due to sail on the Titanic in 1912 (had tickets!), but he wasn’t allowed on board as he had influenza so they took the Atlantic crossing six months later when he’d recovered. My grandad was then born in Detroit in 1915
An aunt had a one night stand with Mohammed Ali.
