The US-China rivalry is not about which side is going to win but about whether liberty/democracy will triumph. Unfortunately, when Americans are in a panicky/hysterical mood, they tend to punish/scapegoat Chinese-Americans who are the most valuable asset for the U.S. not to lose the high-tech race.

China has always and will be a major player on the world stage. Its potential as a major driver for global civilization has been suppressed by its Communist ideology/regime. The combination of two worst ends is that we, the U.S., destroy the American strength but nurture the Chinese patriotism.
