Take over the Panama Canal; not to control shipping but to fill it in so that trans-continental rail reigns supreme once again and Winnipeg regains its role as the shipping crossroads of the continent.

Or, is the consistency you want a higher (and thus more dangerous) overall speed limit, with small carve outs for active school hours?

But… you wanted consistency, not a compromise. If you find it confusing that a sign on one road shows a lower speed limit than the one you turned from, why should we be willing to accept that drivers won’t find time of day changes confusing?

So, we need to wait for someone to get hurt or die rather than being proactive to try to avoid that at all? Strange

I thought you wanted consistency, Mike? If changing a speed limit road to road is so bothersome, how is changing the speed limit *on the same stretch of road* based on time of day or week consistent?

Did they get explicit direction from councils and politicians a decade or more ago when they started using Twitter? If not then, why now?

Welcome to decades of internet debates in Winnipeg re the “1959 Wilson Subway Plan”: www.reddit.com/r/Winnipeg/c...
From the Winnipeg community on Reddit: In 1959, Winnipeg hired the chief designer of the Toronto subway to design a system. I drew a map of the subway proposal.
