Bought tickets for Paul McCartney. I had a limit in mind, and he snuck under it by two bucks. I’m not really a fan, but he IS a legend and one of my top four Beatles. And the show is down the street from my house, so. Do we have a picture of Paul McCartney?

A great day at the Shaw Festival yesterday, started off )and highlighted by) a backstage tour by an ensemble member. Seeing these great productions is impressive enough, but these peeks behind the curtain?

Went across town to see the cherry blossoms. As nice as those were, it was even nicer to be in a crowd of people just enjoying flowers.

Had a family mini-vaccay to celebrate Dad’s would-have-been Eightieth birthday. Eighteen years gone. He’s missed a lot of important personal things, but also, he’s been excused from witnessing terrible and stupid things on the world stage. Still — gone too soon.

Tom Jones. He’s still got it, and what a great show! Indulged us with the hits, but did a lot of new stuff suited to where his voice and heart are at right now. Fantastic!
