What a dump that hotel is, I know its history etc and expected it to be nice lol.

But neither do buses or trains always. I can see the point that’s trying to be made but there are so many ‘it depends’. Bus and train take you to a station, not your final destination. Cost is the main barrier, I live in London where it costs £14/day to travel in and out from the suburbs.
