What’s not moderate about his positions?
February 6, 2026 at 6:31 AM
Beto absolutely did. And he lost by 2.5 points which is still the best performance by a Dem in a statewide race here in Texas for basically ever.
February 6, 2026 at 6:30 AM
Agreed. It’s a good thing to have this primary.

He’s my state lege rep and I’ve met him a few times when I’ve canvassed for area Dems. His pep talks are pretty salt of the earth kind of deals. From a personal perspective he seems quite moderate—thoughtful, tolerant, and nice. He’d charm your grandma. He’s super nice. He’s moderate in a real way.
February 6, 2026 at 6:28 AM
Ok you’re right he’s a radical leftist 🤪
February 6, 2026 at 6:23 AM
He’s considered a moderate because he flipped a red state legislature seat. He’s also openly Christian—he’s a pastor.

I have no idea what Crocket brings to the table other than interwebs clout.
February 5, 2026 at 6:22 PM
Who’s panicking? I live in Texas and prefer Talarico but I’ll vote for the Dem. It is what it is.

She has mar-a-lago face

Who reads the Washingtonian though?

Why not just “Harris comes out in support of Prop 50” tho without the additional innuendo?
October 30, 2025 at 11:33 PM
It’s almost enough to make a person vote Reform /s

I agree with your take on Fetterman. But if you think Newsom and Buttegieg are too conservative, you’re in a serious leftwing bubble.
October 3, 2025 at 5:45 PM
For argument’s sake, couldn’t you just conclude from that data that younger voters aren’t seeing any options they like in the primaries and are therefore not voting in them?
October 1, 2025 at 2:54 AM
I’m surprised that the Post hasn’t figured out how to blame this whole debacle on the woke left
September 18, 2025 at 1:48 PM
But Matt you had me convinced that it was left wing cancel culture that was the big problem

Cancelling Hulu/disney tonight
September 18, 2025 at 2:23 AM
Then why are they all talking such bullshit? They’ve never been as foulmothed and divisive as they are now.
September 12, 2025 at 12:21 AM
My experience too. He’s not nearly as well known as journalists think he was.
September 11, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Normal people had no idea who Charlie Kirk was before the media decided to make this the big story ever. It’s another data point supporting the theory that journalists are far too online.
September 11, 2025 at 11:25 PM
It’s every liberals fault for not stopping some rando from shooting Kirk :/s
