I tried to touch up some of the paint too, bought him used, but only really did the front and back. Left the rest alone.

Taking some time off from print sales and special orders, so my eBay store will be closed for the next 2 weeks. I remembered I have free will! Ha ha!

I’ve got several more salt van bodies I made a few years ago laying around as well. The three above I started last year and they just sat around for awhile…
Gonna sand and repaint these, keeping 2 brown and gray and 3 white, one of which will be repainted reddish-brown. The rest will be sold off

Sadly the scaling wasn’t as perfect as on my green express coaches, but I made it work. This is the second time I’ve made these this month too, as I wasn’t satisfied with the decals the first time

Sadly the scaling wasn’t as perfect as on my green express coaches, but I made it work. This is the second time I’ve made these this month too, as I wasn’t satisfied with the decals the first time

-and made the roofs gray to match too, as well as to match the Season 1 versions. I wasn’t satisfied with the old decals anymore, partly due to my own error. I sanded them off, repainted the coaches, and also removed, sanded, and replaced one of the roofs.
So so so happy with how these turned out!

As you can see with the duct tape, there’s something inside…it’s a bunch of failed prints! These give the structures some weight, mostly so they didn’t blow away when I was spraying them again.
also it turns out months is an understatement, as work began on these last year… Oh well. All done now!

I have not worked on any custom models in a while, so it was nice to get these done in less than a week. There’s many more printed customs I’d like to make…when I’m not busy making the bases for everyone else
