Has anyone done the analysis on how the BBC would fund a loss in the libel case and how exposed the tax payer is?

Strange how so many politicians are insulated from the effects of their terrible policies and only see the real situation when they experience it themselves

Same with utility bills, rents, mortgages, care for the elderly and getting a job after uni

If, as PM you don’t build a direct relationship with the public and tell them about the journey we’re being taken on you are open to lack of trust and resulting lack of confidence

Speeches in parliament are not connecting with the public and

The English elite are colonising Monaco. Living in enclaves and only speaking their own language

Why is she not asked why the interest rate is inflation + 3% and why the latest loans are now repayable over 40 not 30 years?

Suppose most Journos are not exposed to their children’s student debt as they pay up front!

Changes later this month to UK dual citizens travelling to the UK seem to be going underreported

People having to get a UK passport to travel where before they only needed a ETA
February 12, 2026 at 3:32 PM
Don't forget the £11Bn we were all charged for a bodged Smart Meter roll out!
February 12, 2026 at 1:34 PM
Why does the BBC have to blow so much wind into the sails of these right wing and racist stories?

Surely there are more pressing issues such as cost of living and climate emergency!

Could a Journo ask Reform why it has started this group and which other groups it intends to form?
February 11, 2026 at 3:52 PM
More detailed media scrutiny is required in order to hold Farage to account for the disaster that is Brexit
February 10, 2026 at 5:04 PM
Starmer needs to communicate his vision and route map with the public now through regular TV slots taking each area of the economy in turn giving the context for his actions and start treating us like adults who can handle facts
Speeches in parliament don’t reach Joe Public without media distortion
February 10, 2026 at 11:28 AM
Agreed. We are up sh@t creek!
February 5, 2026 at 5:19 PM
Starmers time is coming to an end as by appointing Mandelson he has shown his enemies and many of the public his politics are no different to Johnson et al. Reform will go big on this and the need for radical change. Starmer has been naive in being so timid in his administration
February 5, 2026 at 4:45 PM
Mandleson exposes the totally out dated processes our democracy holds dear in favouring the privileged classes and their honours.
It makes a mockery of the tame and pathetic reforms Labour are proposing for Parliament. No wonder Reform UK gain support from these events!
Time to be bold and reform
February 3, 2026 at 8:20 PM
Pippa. Have you asked Govt how they intend stopping such practises in the future and why the press don’t refuse anonymous briefings from politicians?
February 3, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Yet Mandelson will remain a Peer for the rest of his life

HOL reform now!
February 3, 2026 at 11:05 AM
What about tidal?

Seems not to get a mench in the renewable discussion
February 2, 2026 at 3:46 PM
Jeffery Archer?

The list goes on and on
February 2, 2026 at 3:25 PM
As supposedly a modern democracy we seem inept at putting in place rules to remove peerages for suspect behaviour or have them relinquished when a minister who received one to join the cabinet leaves office. Pathetic!
February 1, 2026 at 3:23 PM
This travesty has been widely underreported by the media for years as it doesn’t affect their children
Well done Lewis but don’t let it fall off the agenda
January 28, 2026 at 5:37 PM
The negative impact of the link between Gas and electricity prices has been known about since it was introduced but it seems to come as a big surprise to the Press
January 28, 2026 at 10:57 AM
It’s a tragedy that we have a Press in the UK who are only interested in Political tittle tattle rather than the details of the policies which affect our lives.
January 28, 2026 at 10:57 AM
Starmer has brought this situation on himself by not leading the party and govt in an effective manner and surrounding himself with a weak team
January 26, 2026 at 12:55 PM
Is another Keir U Turn on the cards?
