For Bitcoin at least:
- no trust required —> credit free —> cheaper to transact
- greater access for the unbanked and protection against debanking
- well known, only changeable by consensus monetary policy is a world first. Powerful if you’ve seen the cost of groceries recently

it’s kinda wild that I’ve still yet to hear a single valuable use case for cryptocurrency beyond just buying drugs and money laundering
