Terribly coached team. Defense leaving people wide open over and over. Offense doesn't know how to line up and can't create plays down field. Total disorganization.

We'll have to wait to see if this will actually happen, but VT is making financial commitments that should put them in the top tier of the ACC in terms of resources. Franklin was convinced that VT will make good on those resources.

He also had a high floor at Vanderbilt and resurrected that program. They beat Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee in the same season. He is the closest thing to a sure thing, quality coach that can elevate the program and VT has a shot at. Who else is there for VT?

They also missed Broderick Jones "going in motion" before the snap on a Warren run. That drive later ended in a Metcalf TD.

This makes the decision to not go for it on 4th and inches to seal the victory with the offense all the more frustrating. Especially when they were running so well all game.
