Just so you know, they actually had to lower the lift (I just learned this was a thing) so they could reach their kayaks because otherwise the bed of the truck was up to their necks.

Most of the more colorful perennials haven't bloomed yet and might not until next year. Year 3 is supposed to be way better.

I selected five or six plants that I liked and got individual packets of seeds to make my own mix. I felt like the commercial premixed packets were a bit chaotic looking.
