I just told my wife that a poster on Instagram did a DYK thing: Apparently, there are more castles in 🇩🇪 ( 20k+) than Maccies in the 🇺🇸 (13.5k+/-). "What for?", she asked. Who knows. Of course, I fact checked, and it's true, however, 🇫🇷 tops the lot with 45k castles... Cocorico!

Feeling rather pleased this evening. I sat a B1 French language exam and passed with 99.5/100... my late mum would have probably asked why, 50 years after my last O levels, it took me so long, and why only 99.5, God bless her.

Delightful. That said, after scolling through the atrocious news from across the pond, I initially read that as "babbling crook". As an apology, here's a photo of the last time, a month ago, I sat next to a babbling stream, albeit at lunchtime.
