On his show just now, Howard Stern teased “an announcement about my future” tomorrow morning.

Noting the false rumors that he was departing SiriusXM after tense negotiations earlier this summer, he said, “I do have an answer now, finally, about what’s gonna happen.”

One of Rob Reiner's earliest TV roles (his third, I think): An episode of "That Girl" from December 1966.

The Reiner news is so dark and all kinds of awful. There's so much to be said about the marks Rob Reiner left on TV & film, but my earliest thoughts are of the family. Any death is traumatic enough, but the absolute horror of a circumstance like that casts an even larger cloud.

Something I didn't see coming: a *Rolling Stone* article about *Weird Al* links out to my post about *The Lonely Island.* That's 2005 Nick's holy trinity right there.

I often forget that Bo Burnham gave us what I genuinely believe is one of the greatest, most perfect songs ever written.

I prefer to think of Hanks as Fonzie's nemesis Dr. Dwayne Twitchell, but to each their own.
'Late Night' host Seth Meyers clearly is a big fan of Tom Hanks' Dungeons and Dragons-themed 1982 TV-movie 'Mazes and Monsters.'

With Everybody Loves Raymond back in the discourse, can we acknowledge that “Christmas Present” (s5e11) is one of the greatest sitcom episodes—and certainly holiday episodes—ever written? Deserves to be remembered with the same reverence (rightfully) given to “The Canister.”

Howard Stern’s first show back opened with Andy Cohen hosting on what he called Andy 100, claiming Howard and SiriusXM had parted ways and the handoff had gotten messy. Howard came on after a break to reveal it’s a joke. They kept the bit going for ~15 minutes. Clearly it worked:

Few music historians note that the advent of pop-punk was preceded by snap-punk and crackle-punk.

I shared this on Reddit, and folks were surprisingly hyped. Perhaps it's time culture revisits the movie HOT ROD and gives it the flowers it deserves?

Anyway, now's your chance to buy Andy Samberg's jumpsuit.
