I make games.

Bsky is my game-diary where I try to post a little something about every game I play, mostly for me to remember.

Finally played Bramble: The Mountain King - a folklore horror masterpiece. Everything that was left up to the player's imagination in limbo is realized in grotesque detail.

Played "A Game About Digging a Hole", and it truly is all about digging a hole. You dig a hole, and the hole is being digged.

Returned to Overcooked 2 with a friend who's just starting to get into games. The difficulty scaling is absolutely absurd, and I absolutely love it.

Played Donut County as I was doing research for a hyper casual game. Such an amazing experience from moment 0.
I don't particularly enjoy the nonsensical story so far, but it's definitely charming.

(Re)Played Root, one of the great board-game-to-video-game adaptations, adding a lot of life and charm in the world. Perfect way to go over the rules with newbies as well.

(Re)Played Osmos. One of my favourite games, which is either inspired from or inspired the .io games. Osmos is a cozy game before we even had the definition and makes me feel warmer, calmer, and closer to the average voter, being a single-cell organism and all.

Completed Sally Face after many years of having only played Episode 1. A very unique journey - jarring, junky and absurd - with unfortunately, not a fulfilling ending. I will have to return to Sally Face 2.

Played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. What a monumental achievement for the genre but also game design as a whole. Can't believe they managed to pull this through in this, hostile to narrative, environment.

Returned to Don't Starve Together, once again using it as a tutorial game for a novice player. It remains one of my most favourite worlds, I just always hope it'd be easier to get more narrative bits during play.

Returned to Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Steam Deck. It's still impressive to me that this game looks and runs the way it does, especially on a handheld. Not enough characters to praise it appropriately really.

Played Edna & Harvey: The Breakout.

Played Caravan Sandwich - gripping art style all around. The dialogue because a bit too much fluffy in the beginning - and I hate skipping through - so I'll have to make some time for it in the near future.

Played Unforeseen Incidents. I'm just in love with the art and the story seems to be taking us on some interesting paths - will have to return to it at some point.

Finished KinitoPET. It's a very very special experience with some meta-wizardry going on - but for me it was lacking any emotional depth. Highly recommended nonetheless.

Playing Who's Lila. Loved the atmosphere and the absurdity of the narrative. I'll have to return to it to learn more.

@interactivetragedy.com Hey! Tied downloading Sub-Verge today but the Windows version is downloaded when downloading from a Mac. This seems to be a configuration issue, hopefully I’ll get to play it soon :)

To understand this system is to accept that every company with a board is committing financial crime at the minimum. The bigger the company the more severe the crime - from purposely endangering workers, to endangering the life on the planet. No exceptions to this rule, just good cover-ups.

too many people see video games as products and not as culture

everyone would appreciate games more if they followed who is creating them instead of only following IPs

real life “lore” is infinitely more interesting than fictional lore and it also helps you better understand the fictional lore too

Hey #gamedev!

I'm trying to make an exhaustive list (maybe Steam Curator page?) of PSX-style horror games on Steam that are worth the time. Do you have any recommendations? Recently played No One Lives Under the Lighthouse and Sorry We're Closed and I'm afraid I need more of that.

Last few years internet search (and especially Google) have become unusable due to the infestations of SEO garbage tactics and AI.

All I am now asking is for a search with block / blacklist button. Maybe a human layer of verification on the listed websites also would be cool.

I’m literally dropping every other social for BlueSky.

All I ever wanted was the ability to have themed feeds.

When I want to see art, I see art. When I want to see gamedev content I want to see gamedev.

So. Fucking. Simple.

No more hate, AI trash or engagement farming.

People often ask what’s the problem with Epic; It’s the fundamentally unethical approaches to anything gamedev.
i also want to point out that generative 3d sites are a dime a dozen, cheap or free, and are all using the same terrible tech that shits out vague blobs. if you want your game to look like ass you don't need to get scammed on Fab

A while ago I tried making a cross platform minimal 4X game heavily inspired by Polytopia & Civilization. I'll soon be focusing on adding diplomacy and reworking the visuals, but I'm a bit lost.

Please check it out and tell me your thoughts / ideas! #gamedev #gameart
