A little over three years ago, everything changed. We welcomed our son into the world, and I put music on the back burner without even really realizing it. I thought I might just slow down for a bit, but instead, I stopped almost completely.

For Earth Day, I’m sharing a newly remastered version of The Great Green Room—inspired by Goodnight Moon and reimagined as a love letter to the planet. This version includes sounds from the National Parks sound library. A quiet good night to the beauty we’re lucky to call home. #earthday2025

Goodnight Moon calls the bedroom “the great green room,” and that phrase stuck with me. I started to imagine it as a metaphor for the earth. That became the spark for my song The Great Green Room—a quiet goodnight to the beauty around us. Like the book, it’s a love letter… just on a bigger scale.

Writing character-driven songs taught me it’s not just about plot—it’s about change. Characters need to grow or fall apart. In “90 Day Wonder,” the narrator gains a title but loses something deeper. What have your characters taught you? #songwriting

Prepping for my Abbey Road on the River sets with some serious stardust vibes. This playlist’s been fueling my “Ziggy Stardust’s One Man Band” set—glam, grit, and just enough space oddity. Give it a spin—what would your Ziggy walk-on song be?

The inspiration for this song was from a story that my grandfather told me about serving in WWII. Soldiers who scored above a certain percent were promoted to second lieutenants and put in a 90 day training camp. They were called 90 Day Wonders.
