It's already bad enough in modding that we've been seeing it happen with people using Gen AI to add custom voice lines, but I'd rather have literally anything else.

Whether it's existing sound effects, as is or sentence mixed, getting a soundalike, or someone doing a terrible impression.

We're in the finals now. Our final opponent was a TeslaJellymon. They were not only strong, but they could heal themselves while attacking.

It took using Dongo's Justice Bullet attack three times to take it down, but we won!

Maybe I'll get something nice for Dongo to celebrate.

Though this tournament had "no limits", we did however come across a variety of different Digimon we haven't seen before. Many of which were at our level.

We got through the first two rounds okay. First round was against a Flybeemon, the second against a Snimon. Both Insect Digimon.

Day 17-20

Our time was mostly spent training and travelling through the desert without much issue. After a while we finally reached the desert town.

There's been something I wanted to do for a while now, which is to enter Dongo into a Tournament. So we joined the only one we could..

The Digimon in this area are definitely stronger than the last one. But with the amount of training Dongo has done, his level seems to match the area at the very least.

Our days have been following a routine with nothing much of note happening during training or downtime.

Day 12-16

Our journey through the Digital World has become easier since Dongo evolved. We finally reach the end of the area we were stuck in. Had to defeat an unusually strong Digimon that was blocking the way, but we managed.

This new area we're in seems to be a vast desert..

Not even including the Switch era and all the discourse surrounding the new games, I remember seeing arguments about which games were the best/worst all the time.

But hey, not being critical of the series whatsoever means you get free pokemon plushies and trips to Japan.

That one comment she made about pitching the franchise to others better sucks.

Digmon has gone through multiple different genres, so that is understandable. But pretending that people have never argued about which pokemon games are the best or the issues with each gen kinda shows her bias.

Day 11

While in the middle of a nap, it finally happened. Dongo evolved.

He went from a ToyAgumon to becoming a Deputymon. A cowboy with a giant revolver for a torso that he can shoot bullets out of.

My boy has become stronger.

One thing of note did happen on Day 10. While wandering around the Digital World, we came across our first "Stage 4" (Champion/Adult) Digimon, a Drimogemon.

With Dongo being one stage below, I thought we'd be in trouble. But we managed to pull through surpsingly well.

Day 8-10

Dongo continues his routine of training, sleeping, and occassionally exploring the Digital World. When the town's shop finally opened up, there wasn't anything worthwhile as I was hoping for.

He did hit Age 3 on Day 9, so it won't be long until he evolves again.. I hope at least.

Some good news is that we finally reached the town.. bad news the shop was closed. Just our luck.

The constant trips to the Digital World and training has made me neglect his health, so now he's quite underweight. I ended up upsetting Dongo by trying to overfeed him.

Day 7

We resumed our routine. Enter the Digital World, get one battle in, return home, and train.

A Tsukaimon that Dongo fought dropped a Data Chip, which could be used to boost his Data attribute without needing to train. But I decided to save it for the time being.

Not long after, a Palmon beat up Dongo. We had a rematch after he recovered and did a little bit of training.

We got a few more fights and wins in before Dongo was low on energy and sleepy, so we spent the rest of the day resting.

At the very least, we're making progress now.

Day 6

Dongo reached Age 2 and got a cookie as a birthday treat.

We came across a new Digimon in the Digital World, it looked like a Patamon. It was a nice break from the constant Agumons we kept running into. We managed to take it out before things got troublesome.

Day 5

Dongo took a long rest, and we trained a little bit once he woke up. Another attempt into the Digital World we encountered an Agumon. This time we managed to scrape by and beat one.

The plan is to continue training, but what to prioritise is the main concern.

On another note; The change in Dongo's habitat has one drawback in that it requires more work in maintaining the temperature to make it suitable for him.

I'm constantly having to raise the temperature since it rapidly drops. If I don't do this, he could end up getting sick.

Every encounter after that were against Agumon, who were a bit stronger. They were too much as Dongo would get knocked out after two hits.

After all that training into his Vaccine attribute and health, it wasn't enough. Guess we need more training..
