Auto-correct strikes again 😆 My original comment mentioned a default layout that would allow users to change whatever they want, which I don't think would be disturbing for power users. Todays methods of handling the Start menu is extremely binary, which is a step backwards...

But to answer on a more serious note. Branding is one aspect. Different persona's is another, and perhaps easy of access for certain users that's not familiar with computers but have to use them. There's not a single layout that fits all, but a default that users can change is a good start.

The same question could be turned around, why not? ☺️

It'd be great if you could bring back enterprise control to the Start menu that's taken away since W11. And while at it, allow us to apply a default layout, that users can later change without it being locked.

Right now we're awaiting the 4 release that's around the corner. We're not updating the version with every other minor update.

We are for sure, but with a version that stable enough for us at the moment.

Updating the PSADT version in the repo is long overdue, unfortunately. I've not been able to focus as much as I would have wanted om community work for the past months due to some private matters. I think you should update it, test with an app to ensure what you use is working as expected.
