The Good Sister
by Sally Hepworth

Crazy how some people can perpetuate delusions and false memories, and do it so well that the pure truth will never be known for sure.

We’ve been good friends (at least, I think so) for a while now. Your interests far outnumber mine, but for the ones we share, I enjoy us being on the same wavelength or pretty darn close.

The Paris Apartment
by Lucy Foley

Family can be complicated.
Didn’t quite go the direction I expected, but I appreciate the contrast to other stories of the type in mixing flashbacks and present events.

The Chronicle of Telum: From Mountains Cold
by @midknightnyran.bsky.social

What lies beyond, and why do you seek it so?
Beware, for the answers you find might just bring more questions, and harsh consequences.
The next leg of Telum’s journey begins, with faces new and old, familiar and unfamiliar.

The Paris Agent
by Kelly Rimmer

It’s a miracle historians are able to piece together so many perspectives of war, given how chaotic times were and how much secrecy surrounded it. So much is buried or lost to time.

In Case of Emergency
by E. G. Scott

When the case against the main suspect is so meticulous it makes them question their own sanity and guilt. That much paranoia is beyond scary.

Road to Ruin
by Hana Lee

I don’t typically delve deep into sci-fi/fantasy, but thought I’d give this one a try.
Traversing a wasteland full of savage beasts and anarchy, trying to survive among dwindling civilizations with crazy superpowers. A wild ride indeed.

I’d rather be surrounded by a small pond of people I like to interact with instead of a sea of fluff and inauthenticity.
Speaking moreso about the social aspect rather than art, but I think the point stills stands.

Blame the Beignets
by Ginger Bolton

Not as complex as some other mysteries I’ve read, but on the other hand it’s a good thing to not dwell on some details too much and get to the point. Despite the title, I’m glad I wasn’t constantly craving sweets while reading.

Dungeon Crawler Carl
by Matt Dinnamon

I’m getting on the hype train for this series. It’s a lot of fun! Very charming and witty with its humor and characters. It’s over the top and whimsical, and a good adventure for those looking for video game/show hijinks put into text form.
