It's weird how I'm pretty sure that I'm skilled enough to actually remake this game. I know most of the puzzles and I can easily see throwing something like this together in the new version of AGS which now thankfully supports video.

Some fun context to add concerning the videos of this game in particular if you're just curious. They're, of course, compressed .bik videos. Just be aware that the built-in transparency's don't really play nice in modern video software. FFMpeg is a requirement.

I haven't checked into how video upscalers are doing recently so I decided to rectify that. They're getting better. In cases where the original footage is somewhere, in someones box, in someones garage, this would be not a bad starting point for a restoration project.

I go back to the FFXII one to remind myself that a hardcover, seemingly built in a box, that also contained an art book was a thing that happened.
I’m glad the art books still exist but I really miss having those guides. Was part of the fandom a .txt guide can’t compete with.
