I generally spend my travel time in England hiking. And recently tend towards staying in the pig hotels as they're always perfect.

These shots are from the excellent Pig in the South Downs, which is sublime for its dark nights and hikes around the South Downs way and Haunton (see the cottage).

A delightful cottage on a bend on a tiny road in the sweet village Haunton in the South Downs. The cottage is thatched and fairytale like, it has wooden beams cross crossing its facade and a cube shaped green hedge in front. There are flowers in the garden: pinks an yellows are the dominant shades and a sprinkle of purple and deep red. The main houae at the pig in the south Downs hotel during tue day, with deep green trees forming a frame — and a Golden Drive way bending to the right. A lady is about to leave the the door but is obscured by the shadows from the iron canopy.
