“Why do things always have to be presented as binary?” is an unimaginative, defensive and non-constructive response to any investigation of hypocrisy.

Person A: “Can you be against slavery and still own a slave?”

The “easy cure” is to end this industry of exploitation once and for all. Then there won’t be two broken legs and the necessary vet bills to rehabilitate an injured innocent animal.

When a human enters any sport, they’re fully cognisant of the risk of injury and the consequences.
When a dog is lead to a box, put in a box, and then forced to run, they’re not aware that if they break their leg they will die.
They trust their human to protect them.
