3) Very few people can say they had the opportunity to be so close with the widely accepted GOAT of the NBA as Isaacson had during her time with the Bulls. This was an experience that to this day she speaks glowingly about and shows immense appreciation and admiration for.

2) Isaacson noted Jordan's professionalism with the media, from the way that he physically presented himself to the way that he would take the time to answer questions for all reporters in a respectful way. These are the behaviours that Isaacson says separated Jordan from other super star players.

1) "Watching him in his prime every night, and watching a practice, I fully appreciated that I was very lucky. Also, that he had an uncanny appreciation for what we did and respect for what we did." said Isaacson.

This advice can be taken when looking at any case of discrimination that one may face. These barriers can be broken, as Isaacson pointed out, when you play to your strengths and show what value you can provide to a company.

"Some places might not look at you, and want somebody younger. But at the same time you bring this wisdom and you bring this experience... There's a certain dependability about you as you get older, and I think play it up, you know. Play up your strengths, whatever you've got." said Isaacson.

Isaacson was blunt in saying that people who are trying to start a career in sports journalism at an advanced age may see some barriers from companies looking to hire younger individuals. This is a reality that comes with the territory of the industry.

3) Isaacson believes that standing up for herself really allowed her to not only survive, but thrive in the locker room. Even through some extremely mediocre Bears teams over the years. As a woman in her 30's, she was much more comfortable taking a stand than in her earlier experiences.

2) She also expressed how some of the young players would come into the locker room and take example from some of the older players. The example was not always good, and resulted in more players mistreating media members or answering questions crudely.

1) Although having faced issues of sexism in her past experiences, Isaacson relates her time with the Bears as good overall. She explained that the players in the locker room had a tendency to be rude to reporters in general, but she never felt it was directed specifically to her as a woman.

3) Tyreek Hill:

An argument can be made for this being the biggest blockbuster move in Dolphins history. Hill came to the team in his prime from Kansas City, and posted back-to-back 1700+ yard seasons. They gave up a lot of capital, but this move will forever mark the Dolphins teams of the 2020's.

2) Leremy Tunsil:

Most remember the gas mask video on draft night. What some may not remember was the haul the Houston Texans gave the dolphins to acquire Tunsil in a trade. The players and draft capital gained in that move led to getting players like Bradley Chubb, Jaylen Waddle and Jevon Holland.

1) Larry Little:

This is easily the greatest trade in dolphins history. They sent Mack Lamb, a defensive back who played very little over his first two seasons, for a future Hall of Fame guard from the San Diego Chargers. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but this was as one sided a trade as ever.

3) OLB:

This is a group that can become the strength of this Dolphins roster. Chop Robinson had a tremendous rookie campaign, and the likes of Bradley Chubb and Jaelen Phillips are set to make their returns from injury. Still, it is yet to be seen if these vets can come back as strong as before.

2) Offensive Line:

The Dolphins offensive line has ranked in the bottom five of the league in most blocking metrics since they drafted Tua Tagovailoa. They added pieces like Jonah Savaiinaea and James Daniels in the offseason, although injury concerns with a few of the starters still loom large.

1) The Secondary:

The Dolphins notably lost Javon Holland in free agency, and are on the verge of trading away perennial all-pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Young players like Storm Duck and Ethan Bonner have shown signs of potential, but will need to make a big impact if they hope to contend in 2025.

4) As the article suggests, can Tua Tagovailoa and company finally break the trend and bring a playoff victory to the state that has seen so much success as of late? With a solidified offensive line, optimism blooms amongst Dolphins faithful. It's up to the team to put it all together on the field.

3) The Miami Dolphins hold the record for the longest playoff win drought in the NFL, and are only second to the Cincinnati Reds in the four of the major sport leagues. They have not won a playoff game since the year 2000. The 25-year long drought leaves fans wondering, when will be their year?
