I was reading up on Girl in the Tower, the song by Mark Seibert for King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow. The game released in 1992 so of course there was both a floppy version AND a CD-ROM version.

I love the rolling HP bar in Earthbound and I don't think enough people realize how distinct it makes the battle system.
