Spotted this issue of Emigre magazine (Issue 29 · 1994, guest designed by The Designers Republic) in the background of an episode of Black Mirror (S7 E4).
This warped my 13-year-old brain when it came out.
Had to dig my copy out of storage. So good.

The white lines in the above piece were plotted with an AxiDraw using Sharpies on glass and then photographed. Here are some additional shots. The melting glyphs happened accidentally as I was cleaning the glass. I keep meaning to revisit this process.
