To connect the dots very simply: If property taxes are slashed, student outcomes will be worse. Not exactly rocket science, but state and local policymakers cannot hear this enough.

The other is from my colleague Rita Jefferson who explains that, in a wave that is reminiscent of California's Prop 13, a bunch of states are cutting property taxes. Which of course are a huge source of revenue for public schools. itep.org/california-p...
