Just a normal guy who wants to live in a world with more compassion and fewer billionaires. Member of Green Party, and have found my hope again.
Christmas in Innsmouth.

I'm a new member of the Green party. I have never voted Green before, but I will do now, in local and general elections. The Greens have offered an alternative to the cruel, serve the rich politics we have endured all my life. The May elections will be the real litmus test.

Passionate, eloquent, and right. @zackpolanski.bsky.social is speaking for a lot of people, myself included, who have feel sick at the cruel policies of Labour.

This is more like when I went on a lads holiday to Kavos. We played a penalty taking game. I was drunk. I ran up, missed the ball and kicked the floor. I spent the rest of the night limping around.
This was painful and embarrassing, but not as much as me voting Labour in the last election.

Verbally opposing Labour's far right positioning isn't enough. If Labour mp's don't leave the party, then they are supporting Labour's vile rhetoric and policies. The only option is to leave. Anything else is just window dressing.

Labour think by being "tough", they will win over Reform voters. They seem blind to the fact they come across as pathetic bullies, and drive away millions of decent, fair minded voters. The lack of morality from Labour is genuinely upsetting, and one of the reasons why I joined the Greens.

Racism, cruelty and stupidity seems to be a good way to start.

It totally matters that the problem isn't real, because you will never be able to fix it.......because it's not real. You fix the problem by tackling the lies, and by tackling poverty and inequality., not by appeasing racists.

I think scaremongering about immigration is a bigger problem than actual immigration. The opinions of these peole will be based on what they see in the media, and not what they experience. The truth is a handful of billionaires are a bigger threat to society than several thousand immigrants.

This is just vile. The only time I see immigration creating division, is in the media. Never do I see this in day to day life. I live in a ethnically diverse part of Oldham, and when I am in Oldham centre, there are just people going about their lives. From now on, i'm voting @greenparty.org.uk
