My 40th birthday yesterday was fairly uneventful… dinner with the fam and my favorite strawberry cake. I’m looking forward to celebrating this weekend with my girlies in Louisville. I’ve never been if anyone has any recommendations.

So I’m going to turn 40 at the end of May… 3 of my besties wanna go out the weekend after my birthday… we’re looking at weekend in Lexington KY or Louisville KY (both are half way points between them and I)… suggestions?

My mom had a slightly abnormal mammogram end of the year. She had a biopsy 1/29 and received results Friday 1/31, which showed Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (breast cancer). We met with surgeon on 2/6, and thankfully it appears to be Stage 0.
