How does an old vending machine save lives? When it's stocked with fresh needles and Narcan. I love my city and the empathy it shows towards everyone who lives here.

My wife, @dcasanovas.bsky.social, came to our relationship with Betsy, the smartest dog - she was people. We never thought we would be able to love another dog as much as her, then this goofy guy needed a foster home and we foster failed him. He's so different than Betsy, yet Appa has our hearts.

Friday night cacio e pepe with extra black pepper. We usually do pizza Fridays but we're holding off until tomorrow night when Deanna is back at home with her boys.

Looking at old picture albums and the ease I used to have around people and crowds. This still feels so out of reach right now and I miss it, that comfort and connection. Fighting severe #PTSD is such staggeringly difficult work, but I'm doing that work. I can't wait to be back with everyone again.

I love Runyon Canyon Park. Back in '08, Tracy (my deceased 1st wife) and I took a few hours and explored the area and I fell in love with it. Due to a hard drive failure, I haven't got many pictures from that trip, but I found one and it made me smile.

There's also a word for Germans who went about their lives and ignored what their country was doing... interestingly enough, that word is also "Nazi".

First, it will show, unflinchingly, that American hate (whether by white supremacists or co-conspirators who believe they too deserve the label of "white") is not just harmful to the oppressed but is a societal harm to is all. Diversity isn't just our strength, it's our lifejacket as a nation.

"A personal touch that turns shopping into an experience"
In-person shopping IS an experience but if you're hanging your hat on the shopping experience, you're going to need focus on making the shopping experience a positive one.
