Also false memories are so fricken easy to give people, even in real life. So Angel having those flashbacks while being actively semi-hypnotized really doesn't hold water to me.

Also Angel's eyes remain hypnotized looking in the next scene, I don't know if they will stay that way, but I don't actually even know if Vox can hypnotize people like he's implying he did.

It looks more like zombie-like or drone like when we see it.

Lastly, this one is more subjective, I feel like the twist came out of no where. It could be odd pacing from the 8 episode timeline, there was a lot of that in season 1.

But what if it came out of nowhere, because it didn't happen? That's so cool. Of course there's no foreshadowing, it's not true.

Sixth, having Vox use a 'False Angel' to further his scheme is so narratively clever. Twisting the angels to fit his narrative was the literal theme of the episode.

Lucifer, the seraphim, and Angel Dust.

It even fits the rule of threes.

He wouldn't risk his perfect spy leaving the hotel, that doesn't make any sense.

Fourth, what was Sir Pentious then???

Fifth, he literally makes most of the tech in hell, everyone in the hotel has a phone! He gives them a TV!!! He was even in the hotel, he could've bugged it easily.

Surely if he's been forcefully brainwashing him, he wouldn't be gentle about it? Especially with the screaming comment, if he didn't use force, why would Angel scream?

Third, Vox has repeatedly jeopardized Angel and Charlie's relationship. Vox is impulsive and petty, but he's not stupid.
