What in the North Korea is going on?

Is pirating much different than borrowing a book from someone to read? Both result in a book being read without paying for it.

The dog that hasn't barked is often used to mean that the absence of something is a clue. I think Epstein had grown suspicious of Trump since his name wasn't mentioned in connection to a victim Epstein knew he had spent time with.

That is my take on it. The lack of Trump's name in connection to a certain victim was a clue.

Trump is not afraid of his base. He's not afraid of the justice system. He is afraid of his elite pedophile buddies, who likely had Epstein killed, finding out that he was a rat. 2/2

I thought the story was that they didn't want to release the files to protect the identities of the victims. So a redacted email is released and the White House immediately outs the name of the victim?

People here thinking they can tell pirates what to do

70% of recipients with jobs work full-time.

The statistic listed is misleading. It implies that every able-bodied person, every elderly or disabled person, and 1/4 of the children on SNAP work full-time.

In 2024, a single person with no dependents making $55,000 would pay $4,616 in taxes. This image, sourced from Grok, would have $4,100 of that going to corporations and we haven't even gotten into military spending yet.

Also, about 2.5% of our taxes go to SNAP, which would be $116 in this case.

At the end of the day, she is just another corporate democrat. She was preferable to Trump but I would like to see someone more progressive. We'll see who shakes out in the next 2 years, assuming we still have elections.

4 Presidents rank below the guy who died 1 month in.

So the sun would come up at 5:30am during the summer? No thanks.

I would also love some push back when he says that she wasn't elected until after the shutdown. He in fact had a whole week to swear her in before the government shutdown.

Haha no problem, I completely understand. What you said was a good reminder to keep things in perspective.

I suppose you're right

"The answer to that question should have been a simple no. But, I understand you don't want to perjure yourself." That would have sufficed.

That can be difficult when you have children or other responsibilities.

But sure, in a perfect world losing an hour of time wouldn't affect anyone's sleep.
