Don't know, parents house in 1970 was 3K( father on the tools,not a big wage), worth 240k now, there is somewhat of a difference there.

I do wish news presenters would stop just saying nurses, it's all health professionals in the NHS that get abused. My wife only gets abused once people hear her name or accent , her being white. The abuse she has received is bad enough, so those of colour get it 2fold.

Called out of pocket expenses, not all tickets are 'electronic', postage/ packing etc...

Think resellers should be able to charge up to 10%over face value. Just enough for genuine sellers by which I mean Joe public reselling because they can no longer attend. Block buyers who resell as a business at massively hiked rates deserve to be consigned to the past.

It will be 5%, inflation my derriere.. they realise that the non existent DEI savings they harped on about aren't going to cut the mustard. Ours are already lining up the closure of several vital day centres.

Got to bear in mind, half these folk come from parts of the US where marrying your 11yr old cousin was a common place, perhaps they are missing those days along with the lynchings.. a society going in full reverse...

Not being funny but, green won't get my vote, there are policies I like but those hardline, often more hateful and vitriolic ( than the reform type) corbynistas who took sanctuary in the greens. Until they are purged, then there will be no progress .
