I guess the sudden and selective outrage campaign “Operation Restore Roosevelt Ave” was just a way to promote the Mayor’s friend who is running for City Council--a disgraced politician who was convicted of a domestic violence charge (third-degree assault) and stealing public money.

NYC has “sanctuary” laws that prevent agencies from sharing info with ICE under most circumstances. BUT these laws have been broken by law enforcement many times without real consequences. If NYC is serious about protecting immigrants, we must pass Int 214: legistar.council.nyc.gov/LegislationD...
