the design extends that, also drawing from midcentury artifacts like paul bacon's big book look and milton bradley board games.

the illustration is inspired by children’s literature, especially the work of tove jansson, shel silverstein, and tim jacobus. visuals that suggest mystery just on the other side of some threshold. entire worlds teeming with strange creatures and thrilling adventures.
