I think of buzzards as vultures as well but I'm in Kansas and have always said "vulture". Buzzards are the jail guard in Disney's robinhood to me lol

I'm in the Kansas City area and they are pretty rare this far north and west. Very cool birds and they travel in in big groups apparently called a "kettle"... So a kettle of kites which is pretty good.

Thank you! How can you tell? I went back and forth on merlin and still don't feel like I can see any difference
