Must be wild for the Trump administration to bear witness to a culture of accountability.

Huge respect for the 2% of Celeb Traitors viewers who think that David Olusoga played the best game.

Everything about Kemi Badenoch – except her beverage preference – is absolutely chilling.

One of the ‘celebrities’ appearing on the BBC’s special Christmas series - The Celebrity Apprentice - will be Thomas Skinner. Aside from the BBC giving him yet more airtime, remind me how Skinner got famous originally?

Britain's sole remaining export is beautiful people. Now to somehow leverage our soft (no jokes) power into trade deals.

This is beyond grotesque. Another young journalism who treats the lives of minorities as a game. I know plenty of people who still hang out with this guy – I can't respect that as a decision when he's publicly gloating about further stigmatising disabled people.

My local cinema – the fantastic West Norwood Picturehouse – isn't showing a single horror movie tonight. Halloween falling on a Friday should be a great opportunity to pack out extra screens, but British cinemas are proving, once again, too sclerotic for their own good.

Mark Mardell, being amazingly calm on Radio 4, discussing his experience flying on Turkish Airlines with Parkinson's. If you were trying to create an unsafe environment for disabled people, this is how to do it. Left unaccompanied, waiting for hours in airport, staying overnight in foreign city.

Don’t really understand the BBC’s framing of this story. He’s not a “mistakenly released hotel asylum seeker”, he’s a “mistakenly released criminal” (or “paedophile”, as you wish). Buying into some very inflammatory rhetoric.

"I'm happy for my children to grow up in a country near the bottom of international rankings for human rights and press freedom, if it means that I can wear my £10k Rolex on the street," is a hell of a parenting choice.

Just saw this at Stansted and thought “wow, what a bold place to put an escape room”. Turns out it’s a relaxation suite, but still: an airport escape room would really separate the (escape room) men from the (escape room) boys.

The moment, last night, when Movers & Shakers won Gold in the Impact category at the British Podcast Awards. A great recognition for a long, hard year of campaigning, and thankfully @rorycj.bsky.social was on hand to collect the award.

I think Didsbury is their last remaining Manchester cinema. Amazingly, it seems like 2/3 of the seats have already been booked...

Genuinely fascinated by this. It will be released as a podcast 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓃𝑒𝓍𝓉 𝒹𝒶𝓎. You are paying £15 to spend 120 minutes(!!!) watching a podcast that will be on YouTube 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓃𝑒𝓍𝓉 𝒹𝒶𝓎.

Who are the people paying £15 to go to their local Cineworld to watch the latest episode of Diary of a CEO with... Louis Tomlinson from One Direction? Like, what demographic could this possibly be catering to?

No comment – obviously – on the person making these comments, but I do wonder how many people have experienced the sheer volume or density of misogyny that Emma Watson has experienced since she was a literal child. I think the insinuation that she is some unworldly naïf is a touch unfair.

tfw you're scared nobody will know you were ever in a relationship with Monica Bellucci if you don't issue a totally needless statement about your break-up.
