The Supply Teacher, in which I played the title role, recently won 2 award nods at London Indie Film Festival for best debut film & best disability-focused film. That super-busy weekend of filming 2 months ago is paying off! It will be released this Christmas & I'm so excited to share it with you.

Great to be back filming yesterday with director Paul (how is it 8 years since THAT zombie film?!) & the fabulous Faye! We play a married couple with secrets and manipulation in a dramatic short covering numerous topics. An interesting challenge to play - looking forward to the results!

July... A month with chats on the radio and chats on stage at comedy gigs. It had dressing up for filming and dressing up for Lee and Layla's wedding. It had new friends and old buddies reuniting. It had ups and downs and was far from perfect, but had enough reminders why we need to keep going.

Sometimes as an actor you have to console, laugh at & then knock out the main character in one 30-second take. That's what I did earlier this week for new web series 'One Day Winner' which has just wrapped & is on its way to screens soon! Expect to see more of this fabulous crew in coming months!

Two workshops done yesterday at @mixingnetworks studios. I had two scene scripts to learn in a few days & perform to casting directors. Going through the scripts and thinking about tone, expression, and all the ways a script can jump off the page makes it about much more than line learning.

March has been slow on the filming front so far but I still got the chance to work with students from University of Essex for the first time last Monday on new short 'The Last Contract', playing an over-enthusiastic bartender. Always a pleasure to support the next generation of film-makers 🎥
