Wow. These guys are really funny. There are a few in-jokes, and it's obviously improvisational, so you do have to spend a bit of time with the podcast. But after listening to 2 or 3 episodes, it really can't be beaten for comedy, sincerity, and hilarity.

One of the many things I love about this movie is that there’s so many completely valid ways of interpreting it. Each more interesting and devastating than the last.

For what it’s worth, I’ve heard first-hand from the horses mouth that the final Nightmare in Silver bears no resemblance to the submitted script either, just in case there’s any fans of that story out there too for whatever reason.

I’m still trying to tailor mine that way. At the moment though, it’s just six political cartoons in a row where the punchline is “Trump bad”. Which, you know, I agree with, but give me something of substance.

I agree. I open the app and am instantly bombarded with the mildest left-wing political takes. Which is a refreshing change from angry Nazis, but all a bit twee.

I feel like between the anticipation for Deathworld, and the issues with the website at the time, this release really flew under the radar. Which is a shame, because it was a really strong release. Highly recommended.

It’s definitely not “good” in the traditional sense, but it’s absolutely everything it should be as a movie.
