I’m supposed to leave on a weekend getaway to see a friend and have no motivation to go. If the hotel and flight weren’t already paid for, I’d just cancel and crawl into bed for the next few days.

I’m now thinking back to my college days when I’d search through a card catalog and then go on a scavenger hunt for the books. Or sitting in a study carrel operating those microfilm and microfiche machines and reviewing old newspapers and magazines.

I’ve been to Gold Beach several times. One of the most beautiful parts of the Oregon coast. 🫡💚🌲🌊

Yep. The protestors and other “domestic threats” will be labeled as “terrorists” and “ANTIFA.” I saw this coming around the election, but assumed people would be sent to prison camps in the U.S., not abroad. This country is truly a horror show and most Americans have no idea what’s coming.

Yeah, I’ve taken it a few times. Last time I took it out there, part of the line was shut down due to maintenance and we were piled onto shuttle buses; it was a clusterf*%k. And whenever I land at Dulles, it takes forever for a train to arrive. 😭

In a few weeks, I fly to Toronto out of DCA. Tickets were only $216 r/t on Air Canada. I hate to schlepp to IAD unless it’s necessary. Hopefully I survive. 😭

I’m an American and won’t even be traveling around the U.S. anytime soon. Maybe I’ll head up to Toronto or Vancouver. But otherwise I’ll spend my money in Latin America and Europe. As a 🏳️🌈 guy, I’ll be more welcome. And I’m telling my gay friends abroad to not visit; I’m frightened for them.

Hi. It has to do equality - the right to marry, the right to exist. Laws dealing with non-discrimination in healthcare, employment, etc. are already being repealed. Red states are already passing anti-trans laws. I would encourage you to read up on LGBTQ history to get an idea. Cheers!

I’m mentally preparing myself to wake up one morning to Trump announcing that we invaded Greenland overnight. And I’ve told a few people that I’m not sure if Europe will put up much resistance for an island with 56,000 people - and I think Trump has factored that in.

I’m an American and I’m not advising my friends overseas to travel here now, even American friends living in Europe. Hell, the next time I return to the U.S. from a foreign trip I might be flagged for additional questioning.
