Oh that’s brutal. I purposely use the 102 to get to Dartmouth for work because at this point it’s quicker than sitting in roatary/Windsor street/bridge traffic.

Parking can be ok depending on the time you need to be there at it’s free remember to get a parking pass from the desk person. The Atlantica hotel is decent but might be pricey Chebucto in isn’t bad either

I don’t think the secure idle would work for FD in case someone on the crew needs to move the truck (I’m not familiar with what the driver does once they get to a scene)

I know police and EHS have a secure idle system that locks the doors but keeps the engine running but I’m not sure about the fire trucks because they are built all custom and multiple people might need to access the truck

We had three dogs at one point (two huskies and a lab whippet) they were between 60-80 pounds it was an adventure getting 4 is insanely fun if you have the time and space.
