Been playing with this on and off the past few months while figuring out a new pc build. Is your Apple TV hard wired to Ethernet by any chance? Over wifi I was getting a lot of dropped frames and periods of heavy input latency. Have a wifi 6 router + system

Great point about third parties boosting the output. Makes the year feel more full than what I think was reality. Not a bad year by any stretch, it just felt real empty between a handful of releases

Bit of a sleeper year for me!
- FF7 Rebirth was fun but didn't have the lasting effect Remake had for me
- Live service implosion was watching a car crash in real time and sets the scene for the next year
- ASTRO BOT WAS JOYOUS
- Playstation + PC muddies the waters over exclusivity push
