Ruben Amorim should be sacked by Man Utd simply for the way he behaved during that penalty shoot out. To not even watch any of the penalties was a disgrace.

More drama in this hour of Test Match cricket than you will get in the entire unwanted 100 tournament. Thank you for nothing ECB. #ENGvIND

Can any Labour Party supporters (and for that matter Reform Party) tell us how the social care sector in the UK will look in the next 5 years? Will there even be one?

I have been a councillor in opposition, and in control of a council. It is far harder to run a council than it is to snipe from the sidelines. I think lots of new @reformparty_uk councillors are about to learn that. I wonder how many signed up for the slog?

The election result in #Canada is a lesson to us all - although it's easier said than done. Stand up to bullies and you will win.

Life is good when you are listening to @kevinhowells.bsky.social and Mark Church commentating on the cricket while trying to get another feed taken off their headphones.

For Americans who didn’t get the joy of living through the Truss/Kwarteng budget, this is the point where the government starts to call the stock market left-wing and/or woke.

You come at the King
@RupertLowe10
, you best not miss.

But seriously, this spat - coupled with allegations of serious misconduct - is why the
@reformparty_uk
won’t come anywhere near forming a government anytime soon. It’s a party of egos, not serious politicians.

🚨 NEW: Kemi Badenoch acknowledges the existence of the Lib Dems

- Considers them a “protest party for mainly people on the left”
- "They are not on Twitter, but they are in local communities"

Excellent result for @brentfordfc.com today. 3 away wins on the trot. Can’t complain. And as a Brentford fan always enjoy my trips to #whufc as we have won in 3 out of 4 visits to the London Stadium.

When I’m not watching @brentfordfc.com I go and watch #Exeter City. Being on the Big Bank last night brought back memories of great - and some bad (!) - times at Griffin Park.

You have to give @Nigel_Farage credit. Of all the politicians around in the UK at the moment, he is the master at not answering any question ever put to him. "What do want to see?" he is asked. "It's what I don't want to see" is always his answer.

If Tory Peers and Guido Fawkes want to set up UK equivalent of DOGE, I hope the first thing they do is ask Michelle Mone to return the £200m handed out after companies associated with her were awarded contracts to supply gowns and face masks.

No wonder Thames Water is virtually bankrupt. They commission people to do work for them who can’t even read simple data, make huge assumptions and don’t understand the law

People need to wake up to what
Trump is doing. It's not good. He and his acolytes are clearing out entire levels of senior civil servants (NOT POLITICAL APPOINTEES) as some form of retribution. For what, who knows? But years of experience are being lost in US government.

Watching @brentfordfc.com on TV when they are playing at home isn’t where I want to be, but that first half performance has cheered me up.
