David thats great to hear! I love the QMX. I also built a 20m QCX and have a 40m QCX in the way.
The Bands have been rough lately, but 40m has been very kind to me. Im doing a cross country trip next week and plan to activate POTA / SOTA the whole way back.

I tried messing with APRS loosely for a week or so but had limited success. But its neat and want to explore more at some point. All my focus is on CW (morse code) atm. Also meshtastic seems really cool, Im not smart enough with computers though.

It is very tight! But if your take your time and follow the instructions it comes together nicely. You deff need to be comfortable soldering tiny things close together though.

Thanks. I started my CW journey at the end of November and Im hooked. My copy has been getting better and I’ve found that sending practice helps reenforces copy for me personally. My goal has been to get on the air by spring.
