A large part of right wing politics seems to stem from the idea that children are the property of their parents. Therefore children with no/absent parents somehow deserve whatever happens to them because parents aren’t being responsible with their property.

The word “transgender” is not anywhere in this statement. It does imply that if being trans were made illegal, they wouldn’t have a problem with taking trans people’s guns away.
