Biked downtown for pizza pickup up on this 105 degree Phoenix afternoon.
Like anything else, riding in the heat is all about being prepared. Lots of water, breathable cloths that cover your body, a good spray bottle, and sometimes a cooling towel are great ways to make summer riding much easier.

No fighting traffic, circling to find a parking spot, and paying for a parking spot. A bike is the best way to get downtown for a concert(or for any reason). #doitbybike @ternbicycles.com

We love riding in the rain! Ran some errands by bike with these two yesterday including a trip to the grocery store for the weekly shop. We could have easily jumped in the car to stay dry of course but what fun is that?

#cargobike all loaded up for my wife’s art show tomorrow. Using this bike is so much more practical for stuff like this than a car. She can pull right up to her booth, unload, and just leave it with her. @regrain-studio.bsky.social

-took the kids to/from school(avoiding the dreaded pickup/drop off line)

Finally biked to the airport. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but I’m always worried about the security of the bike. It was finally the right situation with a short trip and having enough locks to make me feel ok about it.

These 2 guys always prefer the ride to school in the bakfiets over the car. When we arrive they’re almost always mobbed by their classmates(and some adults) asking questions and telling them how cool it is.
